GOAL: Reduce consumption by continuing environmentally friendly business practices with an emphasis on improving customer interaction experience through hang tags.

Patagonia’s hang tags and packaging cross the hands of many globally and each hang tag covers a wide variety of information from price, size, product materials, regulatory information and more. Currently Patagonia utilizes upwards of 30 variations of tag inserts (within a tag fold) and 10 different tag designs that vary based on the product.

In accordance with Patagonia’s mission to pursue environmentally conscious business practices, Patagonia would like to reduce their current hang tag material consumption by redesigning a more efficient hang tag. In order to improve the effectiveness of the new hang tag design, our team will be integrating digital storytelling into the user experience.
