UC Berkeley Azaad was one of the most defining experience of my dance career. As a competitive team, intense practice schedules taught me more about my body and mind by pushing me to levels I didn’t know were attainable. This team gave me a family and taught me discipline and endurance.

I joined an urban choreography performance team called TruElement. With no experience in urban beforehand, I was able to broaden my understanding of dance through this team. I learned that dance doesn’t need to have rules — movement is up to your own free expression.

Dance projects are when creativity, vision, and choreography all come together in order to create an artistic masterpiece. With many different artistic components, each of these videos were carefully envisioned by some of the most talented people I know.
workshops
Workshops are one of the hardest places to be performing. You don’t get hours of training, you can’t prepare until you have the choreography in muscle memory. Workshops taught me as a dancer to let go and just be okay with making mistakes — as you will see in a lot of these videos.
